WAP35 grade designed for machining steel, cast iron with splinter chip of large cross section and variable thickness. It is resistant to fatigue dynamic loads. It can be used at high and medium cutting speeds and large cross sections of the cut layer.
The modern RDMT 1605 MO D57 WAP53 circular, milling, multi-cutting, round insert is produced by the well-known German cutting tool manufacturer Walter. Carbide insert has the following dimensions: side length 16.50 mm and thickness 5.00 mm. It is manufactured using a multi-layer method, which involves the application of successive layers of material. Thanks to such production, the inserts are characterized by high wear resistance, long life, high hardness and the possibility of cutting even in very difficult conditions, including temperatures reaching 700 - 1000 degrees C. A special grade of carbide, WAP35, was used in the production of the inserts. It is designed for machining steel, cast iron with splinter chips of large cross-section and variable thickness. It is resistant to fatigue dynamic loads. It can be used at high and medium cutting speeds and large cross sections of the cut layer.
