The UNFNo 10-32 t orsion tapping performs UNF 10-32 threads according to ASME B1.1 (60-degree outline); No.10's outside diameter is 4.826 mm, and the pitch is 0.7938 mm (32 TPI). The DIN 374, Form C design with a 2-3 coil face is optimized for blind holes. The HSSE core provides increased hot-strength and resistance to edge chipping in structural and low-alloy steels. Uncoated version (bright finish) maintains predictable geometry; external cooling or MQL recommended. Selection of UNF 10-32 machine tapping toolholders makes it easy to maintain concentricity and a stable effective diameter.
