Professional 1 3/8-12 UNF machine tap with a pass-through shank for machine tapping Unified Fine threads, type UNF, 1 3/8 inch, 12 threads per inch. Manufactured in accordance with DIN 374, with a finished thread tolerance class of 2B (medium accuracy class). Triangular thread profile with a 60° angle. Chamfer type A – for tapping through holes. These machine taps are manufactured from high-grade high-speed steel (HSS). This material ensures high tapping quality, particularly greater precision and productivity. Reduced working time and high tap strength improve utilization of available workstations. In addition, the offered 1 3/8-12 UNF machine taps Unified thread versions resist breakage, cracking, chipping, edge nicking, and other types of damage. The taps' high durability also provides a longer service life. They are suitable for machining materials in classes P1.2 – P1.3 (unalloyed steels, metals, metal alloys, plastics).
