American 1 1/4-12 UNF machine threader
Professional 1 1/4-12 UNF machine thread cutter made according to DIN 374 standard. It is designed for machine cutting of UNC fine threads of 1.1/4 inch diameter, 12 turns per inch. The tolerance class of the threads made is 2B. Type of cutter C - for threading blind and through holes with a long thread run. Unified machine threaders offered in our store are produced with the highest precision from special HSS (High Speed Steel Cobalt).
The properties of this steel increase the possibility of machining even hard-to-machine materials. First of all, 1 1/4-12 UNF machine taps made of HSSE steel are harder and more durable. They are also characterized by higher wear resistance and higher machining efficiency. Thanks to these features, threaders are rarely subject to mechanical damage (breakage, cracking, chipping, dulling) and thus can be used for longer periods of time. In addition, they are resistant to high temperatures generated during high-speed machining.
