Modern core hole drill 17 for metal tubular short, Polish production, made of high quality HSS (High Speed Steel). The diameter of the drill is 17 mm. It has a metric fi ¾ inch (19.05 mm) shank mounted directly in the collet or in a special chuck that allows conversion to Morse taper. The use of an adapter makes it possible to change the shank to fi 18 mm. The process of making a hole involves cutting the excess material only on the circumference of the hole. This allows less power and material tool consumption and also reduces the amount of chips created in the machining process. Another advantage of the drills is that they can reduce working time by about 30 to 40% compared to machining with a standard drill. Core hole drill 17 for metal application to magnet drilling machines, they have a ¾" shank. They can also be used for milling machines and lathes - by using a special adapter to change the shank to fi 18 mm. The advantage of the drills is the possibility of their regeneration in case of wear.
