Modern core hole drill 18 for metal tubular (crown, trepanation), short with a diameter of 18 mm, Polish production, made entirely of modern HSS high-speed steel. It is designed for making (milling) holes of significant cross-sections. The machining process takes place exclusively on the periphery of the hole, which affects the smaller amount of chips produced. It also results in a significant increase in machining efficiency and shorter overall working time - compared to drilling with a standard drill. Offered by us core hole drill 18 for metal has a cylindrical shank fi ¾ inch for mounting in a collet. It is also possible to mount in a special chuck, with a transition to a Morse taper. Tubular drills are mainly used in magnet drilling machines, but also with lathes and milling machines. Their advantage is that they can be reconditioned (resharpened) and thus extend their service life.
