Modern core hole drill 14 for metal tube drill with a diameter of 14 mm, commonly known as trepanning drill or crown drill. It is suitable for milling holes by cutting the workpiece only on the circumference of the workpiece. This results in fewer chips, which can be reused as full-value material. The drills also have the advantage of being able to significantly reduce working time by about 30-40% compared to drilling time with a standard drill. The offered trepanning drills fi 14 for metal crowns have a tubular shape, and the blades are distributed around the perimeter of the working edge. They are made of special HSS (High Speed Steel). This allows the drills to be more resistant to harsh cutting conditions and also more resistant to abrasion and other mechanical damage. The drills are mounted directly in a collet or in a special chuck for Morse taper transition.
