Hand tapsM48x1.5 fine-coil HSS - a set of two professional general-purpose taps for cutting metric fine-coil threads, with an angle of 60 degrees, ISO DIN-13, type M 48x1.5. The set includes two taps peeler with an 8P cut and finisher with a 2P cut. Their subsequent use is necessary to make a complete thread. A special knob is used for the work. The M48x1.5 hand taps we offer are manufactured from special molybdenum HSS (High Speed Steel). This is a tool steel with improved cutting parameters. First of all, threaders made of it allow to significantly increase the precision of cutting and increase productivity. M48x1.5 hand taps are resistant to difficult cutting conditions, including high temperatures created during machining. Their blades are highly resistant to a variety of mechanical damage, including breakage, chipping and even dulling. This guarantees a longer service life for taps and thus the possibility of reducing machining costs.
