Carbide insert CCMT 09T308 for turning of steel

Carbide insert CCMT 09T308 multi-sharpness turning lathe made by the American company Winstar. The 2555 grade is designed for machining steel and stainless steel. Modern CCMT 09 T308 multi-point turning insert is designed for professional turning of workpieces made of hard and difficult-to-machine materials. This is a C-shape insert, type CCMT, 09T308 with carbide grade CX2555 produced by the well-known and respected Korean company Winstar. Carbide grade CX2555 (P20-P45) coated by CVD method is designed for medium and rough machining of hard materials such as alloy steels, stainless steels, heat-resistant steel, acid-resistant steel, structural steel. Carbide multi-cutting inserts are resistant to abrasive wear and also withstand very heavy cutting conditions. They are resistant to high temperatures (700 - 1,000 degrees C) generated when cutting at increased speeds. The inserts can be used at high and medium cutting speeds on conventional and CNC computer-controlled machine tools.
