It uses a suitable cylindrical shank, thanks to which it can be used both on conventional machine tools and modern CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) machines. The ability to change inserts increases the range of tool use. Above all, it allows the 20x35 folding countersink to be used for different guide hole diameters. This makes the tool more versatile. Even if the blade is damaged, it is not necessary to use a new tool, but only to replace the insert. The advantages of this type of folding countersink also include easier production of face blades.
