UNF 1/4-28 left-hand HSS die – for precision left-hand threaded joints
UNF 1/4-28 left-hand die is used to cut left-hand external threads with a diameter of 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) and a pitch of 28 threads per inch. The UNF (Unified National Fine) fine thread standard offers 40% more threads than its UNC 1/4-20 counterpart. The left-hand thread protects against self-loosening in rotating mechanisms.
