Die UNF 5/16-24 LH HSS – a compact tool for left-hand fine threads
UNF 5/16-24 left-hand die is used to cut left-hand external threads with a diameter of 5/16 inch (7.94 mm) and 24 threads per inch. The UNF (Unified National Fine) fine thread standard offers 33% more threads per inch than its UNC 5/16-18 counterpart. The left-hand thread prevents self-loosening in mechanisms rotating clockwise.
