Die UNF 1 1/8-12 is used to cut external threads with a diameter of 1 1/8 inch (28.58 mm) and 12 threads per inch. The UNF (Unified National Fine) fine thread standard offers as many as 71% more threads per inch than its UNC 1 1/8-7 counterpart, providing significantly higher load capacity and excellent resistance to loosening. HSS construction ensures durability during heavy-duty machining.
