Die UNF 5/8-18 LH HSS – a robust tool for left-hand fine threads
UNF 5/8-18 left-hand die is designed to cut left-hand external threads with a diameter of 5/8 inch (15.88 mm) and 18 threads per inch. The UNF (Unified National Fine) fine thread standard offers as many as 64% more threads per inch than its UNC 5/8-11 counterpart. The left-hand thread provides protection against self-loosening in rotating equipment.
