Core hole drill 28 mm HSS long version is a precision fi 28 mm HSS tubular drill bit designed for deep drilling in structural steels, stainless steels and non-ferrous alloys. Thanks to the trepan design, the material is cut only at the periphery, resulting in fewer chips and shorter machining time.
The drill bit is made of wear-resistant HSS high-speed steel, which ensures high tool life and stability even during intensive work. The standard ¾" Weldon shank allows direct use in all types of magnet drills. After using an adapter, it is also possible to work on milling machines and lathes with a cylindrical fi 18 mm chuck.
The elongated geometry provides the possibility to drill a hole of greater depth in a single working pass, without the need for several tool feeds.
