Center drill protected designed to perform 60/120-degree punctures in a single treatment

Center drill NWRd for making protected punctures, diameter 2 mm. It has two blades with an angle of attack of 118 degrees, as well as special chip grooves for efficient removal of chips from the cut material. Drill caps in our range are made by grinding method from special HSS high-speed steel, in accordance with the dimensional standard DIN 333-B. Overlaps are made in order to reduce the effect of drill bit run-out in the initial phase of drilling, as well as to properly guide the drill bit. An important advantage of drill bits from our offer is the possibility of machining very hard and hard-to-machine materials classified as P1.2 - P1.3. These include metals, unalloyed steels, sheet metals, non-ferrous metals, metal alloys and others. The drill bits can withstand harsh cutting conditions and also resist potential mechanical damage. They are suitable for professional machining in large workshops and manufacturing plants.
