Modern TPUN 160308 lathe, multi-sharp TPUN 160308 SM25T insert, distinguished by increased resistance to heavy cutting conditions. Its manufacturer is the Polish company Baildonit of Katowice. It is a lathe insert, triangular bevelled, without chipbreaker, with the following dimensions: side length l - 16.5 mm, insert thickness s - 3.18 mm, corner radius re - 0.8 mm. It is manufactured in the highest quality from a special grade of sintered carbide SM25T (P15-P40) (M25-M35). This is a grade of increased technical parameters, distinguished by high hardness and durability. It is a grade of carbide designed to perform machining of steel, cast steel and stainless steels with a splinter chip of large cross section and variable thickness. The multi-cutting inserts in our range are resistant to fatigue dynamic loads. They are suitable for use at high and medium cutting speeds and large cross sections of the cut layer.
