The ground working surfaces ensure longer service life with accuracy and repeatability. The 315 lathe chuck is mounted in the machine tool spindle by means of a driver disc on the back of the chuck
The315 self-centering lathe chuck is characterized by the fact that when tightening with a wrench, the sockets of their jaws descend evenly (concentrically) to the center of the chuck, and when unscrewing in the opposite direction, they also spread concentrically. They are primarily used to fix objects with regular shapes (cylindrical, square, hexagonal). These chucks are widely used in both unit and small batch production.
