Professional core hole drill 26 for metal tubular with a diameter of 26 mm, short, with a metric shank fi ¾ inch. The drill is designed for making (milling) holes of large diameter. The machining of the hole is carried out only on its perimeter, which reduces the amount of cut material (less chips). Thanks to this way of machining, the resulting surplus material can be used as full material. In addition, this way of machining affects less power and tool consumption. Tubular drills are also called trepanning or crown drills. They have a metric fi ¾ inch shank, with the possibility of mounting in a special Morse taper chuck, or directly in a collet. Core hole drill 26 for metal are mainly used in magnet drills, but they can also be used in milling machines or lathes with the use of a suitable adapter that changes the shank to 18 mm.
