Description
Turning tool for chiseling, notching and undercutting with LFMX inserts.
The quill is fixed in the holder by elastic forces. The most commonly used tools in this group are double-edged strips of the type 150.19...- best cutters for cutting large-diameter workpieces and making deep radial indentations.
PTNn holders should be used to mount the strips. The insert should be mounted in the socket using a plastic hammer. It is very important to set the blade exactly at an angle of 90° to the axis of the workpiece, and when cutting parts with small diameters, set the height of the blade with an accuracy of ±0.1 mm with respect to the axis (an "above-axis" setting is more favorable). During machining, apply coolant generously directly to the cutting edge.
