Modern UN 1.7/16-12 unified tapping machine thread cutter. Designed for cutting American unified threads. These are cylindrical threads with a fixed outside diameter, they have a triangular outline, where the angle of the outline is 60 degrees. Such unified machine threaders found in our store are made of special HSSE (High Speed Steel).
This is a material that allows much higher cutting parameters, including, in particular, higher machining efficiency. Thanks to this, the machine threaders in question reduce the machining time of individual workpieces and thus make better use of the machine tools you have. In addition, the threaders are resistant to very high temperatures arising during high-speed threading.
