Modern M7 machine taps with reinforced shank designed for machine production of ordinary metric, left-hand (LH), 60-degree angle, type M, diameter - 7 mm, ISO DIN 13. Type of nut C (2-3P) for through-holes and blind holes in materials giving short chips. The taps are made of special cobalt HSSE high-speed steel. Thanks to the unique properties of this steel, the tapping tool is designed for machining extremely hard and hard-to-machine materials, including heat-resistant steel, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, non-ferrous metals, gray iron, drawn iron, cast steel, metal sinters and others. The properties of HSSE steels also translate into high cutting efficiency, reduced working time, increased machining precision, and higher blade resistance to harsh cutting conditions.
