Modern M12 x1,75 HSS threading dies, designed for cutting external metric ordinary M12 threads. It complies with the dimensional standard DIN 22 568, type NHMa, tolerance class of made threads 6g. This type of dies are dedicated to both individual customers and large production plants carrying out multi-series production. Metric chasers in our store are characterized by very good quality of manufacture from modern high-alloy HSS - High Speed Steel. This is a tool steel with enhanced cutting properties. First of all, tools made of it are distinguished by a long period of use.
This is a consequence of high resistance to any mechanical damage, such as breaking, cracking, chipping and even rapid blunting of blades. In addition, high-speed steel metric chisels allow much higher cutting accuracy and better productivity. They are suitable for machining materials of P1.2 class - P1.3. For proper use of the dies we need a dies holder - in the case of manual threading or a lathe dies holder. The process of threading the external thread M12 itself is very simple and in one pass. The M12 thread cutter you have is screwed clockwise onto a rod with a diameter of about 11.80 mm. After about two full revolutions, we reverse the tool cutter to break the chip and continue to screw the tool cutter onto the rod. The action of breaking the chip is repeated depending on the resistance of the threading process.

Toolholders made of high-alloyed HSS (High Speed Steel) are suitable for cutting very hard materials classified as P1 class. 2 - P1.3. These include carbon steels (unalloyed steels), metals (aluminum, copper), metal alloys (bronze, brass), cast steel, plastics, structural steels and many others.
The use of HSS (High Speed Steel) in the manufacture of the dies allows to obtain better cutting properties while maintaining high efficiency of the machining performed.
The blades of the tooling dies are resistant to any mechanical damage, which significantly extends their service life. The properties of the steel affect the high resistance of the blades to fractures, cracks, chipping, splitting, breaking off and others. The dies are also very resistant to dulling, which noticeably extends their service life and affects greater working comfort. These properties of the chasers are highly appreciated by professionals.
