Drill 2,2 mm cobalt HSSE Inox. High-quality drill bit for professional drilling of through-holes and blind holes in hard-to-machine materials. It is a twist drill, cylindrical drill complying with the dimensional standard NWKa, DIN 338. Manufactured from modern HSSE high-speed steel, of which cobalt (5%) is an important component. The drills have special spiral grooves, which are used for efficient chip evacuation up the hole, as well as strong ground cutting edges insensitive to impact and lateral forces. In addition, the cobalt steel from which the drills are made increases the cutting performance and their resistance to damage of the blades even in very harsh conditions and high temperatures. They can be used to drill holes at high speed during which high temperatures are generated - up to 670 degrees. The 2.2 mm cobalt metal dr ills are suitable for drilling machines, milling machines and lathes, as well as CNC machine tools.
