It is suitable for drilling very long (deep) holes in materials of class P1.2 - P1.3 (unalloyed steels, brass, bronze, electronic copper, copper alloys, zinc, heat-hardening plastics). Long drills for metal 6 in our offer are made according to the dimensional standard DIN 1869, from modern high speed steel HSS (High Speed Steel). This is a steel characterized by above-average hardness and resistance to severe cutting conditions. HSS drills are more resistant to abrasion than drills made of conventional tool steel. They can be used for high-performance machining at increased speeds. They are recommended for conventional and CNC numerical control machine tools.
