It is drill bit with Morse taper shank, made in accordance with DIN 345 from modern HSS (High Speed Steel). The drill has specific geometrical features that directly affect the possibility of obtaining better work results. Special spiral grooves accelerate the removal of chips from the drilled hole, and strong ground cutting edges increase resistance to impact and lateral forces. The31.75 HSSmetal drill bits can be used for machining unalloyed steels, metals, nonferrous metals, plastics. They have the advantage of increased resistance to very harsh cutting conditions, including the high temperature created when drilling at high speed. This makes it possible to reduce working time and make more rational use of the machine tools at hand.
