Thread type C - for through-holes and blind holes in materials with short chip. Thread outline triangular with an angle of 60 degrees. The No 2-56 UNC unified machine taps in question are made according to DIN 371 from special high-grade HSSE high speed steel. This is a unique tool steel with 5% cobalt as an important component. The addition of this element makes our threaders very resistant to abrasion, even under the influence of high temperatures generated during high-speed cutting. The blades of the taps are resistant to mechanical damage (fractures, cracks, chipping, breakage, blunting). The tools can be used for machining very hard materials of class P1.2 - P1.5 (alloy steels, stainless steels, acid-resistant steels, cast iron, cast steel)
