The tools are characterized by high quality manufacturing from modern high-speed steel with 5% cobalt - HSSE. It is a steel characterized by high cutting properties. Machine taps 5/16-18 UNC from this steel are suitable for machining even very hard and difficult-to-machine materials (cast steel, gray cast iron, ductile iron, alloy steel up to 800 MPa, heat-resistant steel, acid-resistant steel). The blades of the taps are resistant to breakage, cracking and chipping, which guarantees a long service life of the tools.
