Machine Tap M5x0.5 for stainless steel
Professional machine taps M5x0.5 for blind and through holes, for cutting metric fine threads, type M, with dimensions 5 x 0.5. It is manufactured according to dimensional standard ISO 529, with a form D chamfer. The tap is manufactured by the Serbian company FRA, which is recognized worldwide for the high quality and long service life of its cutting tools. The metric fine thread machine taps offered in our store are manufactured from special high-speed steel (HSS) with approximately 5% cobalt, which increases the hardness and strength of the steel. HSSE taps withstand high temperatures of up to 670 °C generated during cutting at high rotational speeds. M5x0.5 machine taps can be used to machine components made of stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, heat-resistant steel, alloy steels, cast steel, and cast iron.
