Machine tapping M18x1,5 through threader for stainless steel
High-quality M18x1.5 straight through machine taps - for through holes, complying with DIN 374, for cutting metric fine threads size M 18x1.5. It has an angle of 60 degrees, tolerance class ISO2-6H, type of nut B for various lengths of through holes in materials giving short chips. The fine-coil machine taps in our store are made of modern HSSE high-speed steel with 5% cobalt. It is a steel distinguished by very high cutting parameters. Compared to standard tool steel, HSSE allows machining of very hard and hard-to-machine materials, allows high-speed threading during which a high temperature is generated - even up to 670 degrees C. Cobalt steel also increases the strength of threaders to withstand harsh cutting conditions and makes the blades resistant to breakage, cracking, chipping and other mechanical damage. This feature greatly extends the life of the taps. M18x1.5 through machine taps for stainless steel are recommended for all professionals.
