A set of 3 pieces of hand taps 1-8 BSW Whitworth inch for cutting Whitworth BSW common internal threads of section 1-8, BS-84:1956. They can be used to thread through-holes and blind holes, the angle of the thread outline is 55 degrees. The tools we offer have high quality workmanship and thus guarantee a long service life. They are made of modern high-grade high speed steel, the advantages of which further strengthen the quality of the taps. This is a special HSS high speed steel - SW7M, which affects the possibility of obtaining high machining efficiency, high precision of cut threads, as well as high resistance to severe cutting conditions. The blades of the thread cutters are resistant to possible damage caused during threading (breaking, cracking, chipping). The tools are made in accordance with the ISO 529 standard. Threading is carried out in three successive working steps, manually with the use of a suitable knob.
