Inch threads are used in pipe connections, in installations and fittings. Our button dies are made entirely of specialized tool steel, marked WS. This is a steel with exceptional mechanical properties. First of all, tools made of this steel are extremely durable and hard. They are characterized by increased resistance to harsh working conditions, as well as the ability to increase the speed of processing. Even at the resulting temperature (up to 600 degrees C), Whitworth's burnishing dies are not subject to mechanical damage such as fracture, chipping, dulling, cracking. This results not only in a reduction of working time, but also the possibility of reducing overall processing costs. The dies proposed to you are suitable for threading parts made of P1.2 class materials - P1.3.
