Long drillfor metal 4,6 cylindrical drill according to NWKb, DIN 340 for drilling cylindrical holes for through-holes and blind holes in materials classified in the category P1.2 - P1.3. These are, among others, unalloyed steels, metals, non-ferrous metals, copper tops and aluminum alloys giving short chips, as well as thermoplastics. The fi 4.6 long metal drill bits we offer allow drilling holes of 4.6 mm, have 2 central blades, strong ground cutting edges and special chip grooves for removing chips from the drilled hole. The drills are manufactured from modern molybdenum HSS - High Speed Steel characterized by high cutting properties. Its reflection is the very high resistance of the drill bits to mechanical damage caused when drilling at high speed (at high speed) during which a high temperature is generated. Even under the influence of thermal shocks, the drill blades are resistant to fractures, cracks, breakage, chipping, as well as dulling. This affects the longer service life of the drills. They can be used for conventional and numerical control machine tools.
