The drill is made of modern HSS (High Speed Steel) according to the dimensional standard DIN 341 by grinding and milling method. The drill has a long design, which makes it possible to effectively make very deep holes. It works well during tasks requiring maximum tool overhang. The fi 22 long metal drills we offer have a Morse taper shank. They are suitable for drilling centric and axial holes along their entire length. They can be used for machining hard and hard-to-machine materials, such as alloy steels, non-alloy steels, metals, non-ferrous metals, metal alloys, thermoset plastics.
