Longdrill for metal 18,5 twist general purpose type NWKy, with a diameter of 18,5 mm. This is a Morse taper shank drill bit with a long design, which allows you to effectively drill deep holes. The total length of the long metal drill 18,5 is 300 mm and the length of the working part is 180 mm. The drill can be used for professional, high-performance machining at increased speeds. It is suitable for conventional and CNC numerical control machine tools. The advantage of these drills is that they are highly resistant to heavy cutting conditions, including the high temperature created when cutting at high speed. The drill bits were produced by grinding and milling method, in accordance with the dimensional standard DIN 341. A special HSS (High Speed Steel) was used in the production of the drill bits. It is a steel that increases the strength of the drill bits and also increases resistance to abrasive wear. The drills are suitable for machining unalloyed steel, alloyed steel, structural steel, automatic steel, metals, metal alloys.
