Long drills for metal 18,25 of this type have 2 central blades, apex angle, special cutting edges insensitive to impact and lateral forces, as well as spiral grooves responsible for rapid removal of cut chips from drilled holes. The drills are made according to the NWKb, DIN 340 dimensional standard from special HSS - High Speed Steel. This is a sta that affects the achievement of much higher drilling effects. First of all, drill bits made of this steel are resistant to harsh cutting conditions, resistant to mechanical damage (fractures, cracks, chipping, blunting) and allowing high drilling accuracy. This reduces the drilling time, extends the lifetime of the drill bits, and as a result, it is possible to reduce overall machining costs.
