It makes the drill bits suitable for drilling deep holes in very hard unalloyed steels, metals, metal alloys, copper, aluminum and others. Long drills for metal 12.1 have 2 central blades, special chip flutes and strong ground cutting edges. The specific geometric design of the drills as well as the properties of high-speed steel increase the cutting capabilities of the drills. First of all, they increase cutting efficiency and improve the accuracy of drilled holes. In addition, they make it possible to machine under very difficult conditions, especially at the high temperature created when drilling at high speed. They are suitable for use in conventional drilling machines, lathes, milling machines and CNC machine tools.
