Specialized long drill for metal 11,7 mm, cylindrical, twist drill according to the dimensional standard NWKb, DIN 340. Drills of this type have a specific design, which affects the higher quality of drilling. First of all, they have 2 central blades, strong ground cutting edges resistant to eye and impact forces, a tip angle of 118 degrees and spiral grooves responsible for fast chip removal. The 11.7 cylindrical long metal drill bits in question are made of modern HSS high-speed steel, the properties of which directly contribute to enhanced drilling performance. First of all, HSS drills are very hard and durable, and therefore extremely resistant to any mechanical damage caused when drilling hard-to-machine materials, even at high temperatures - up to 600 degrees C. They can be used to drill holes in unalloyed steel, metals, non-ferrous metals, metal alloys and plastics. The drills are suitable for professional processing and are recommended for conventional drilling machines, lathes, milling machines and CNC numerical control machine tools.
