The drills in question are manufactured from special HSS - High Speed Steel. This is a steel with exceptional cutting properties. First of all, it guarantees high machining performance, the ability to work in harsh conditions and also to drill in very hard materials. Drills made of this steel are resistant to abrasion even at very high temperatures (up to 600 degrees C) created when drilling at high speed. They can be used for hand and machine drills.
