Drill 12,2 mm on Morse taper with a fin
Modern metal drill 12.2 mm with Morse taper shank for steel , in accordance with DIN 345. It is a drill with a diameter of 12.2 mm for machining very hard materials classified as class P1.2 - P1.3. The drill is suitable for drilling holes in parts made of unalloyed steel, metals, non-ferrous metals, metal alloys and hard plastics. It has 2 central blades, strong cutting edges, a tip angle of 118 degrees and special spiral grooves designed to guide chips up the drilled hole. Thanks to these features, the 12.2 metal drill bits can withstand harsh cutting conditions and resist impact and lateral forces. They are manufactured in accordance with DIN 345 from special HSS high-speed steel. It is a steel that increases cutting capabilities, especially drilling performance and accuracy. They are resistant to abrasion even under the influence of high temperatures (up to 600 degrees) created when drilling at high speeds. The drill blades are resistant to breaking, cracking, chipping and other mechanical damage. They are suitable for conventional machine tools (drills, milling machines, lathes) as well as for modern CNC (computerized numerical control) machine tools.
