Die UNS 5/16-36 HSS – precision inch die for special threads
Die UNS 5/16-36 is a specialized tool for cutting external threads with an extra fine nonstandard pitch in the American Unified National Special system. Made of high-speed steel (HSS) in accordance with DIN 22568, it cuts threads with a diameter of 5/16 inch (7.94 mm) and a pitch of 36 threads per inch.
