Die UNS 1/2-18 HSS – special inch die with an intermediate pitch
Die UNS 1/2-18 is a specialized tool for cutting external threads with a nonstandard pitch in the American Unified National Special system. Made from high-speed steel (HSS) to DIN 22568, it is used to cut threads with a diameter of 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) and 18 threads per inch.
