Modern machine taps1/2-28 UNEF, type UNEF 1/2 - 20, designed for cutting American unified threads. These are fine threads, inch diameter ½ inch, and 28 turns per inch. The threads have a triangular outline with an angle of 60 degrees, the tolerance class of the threads made is 2B. We offer you high-grade unified threaders manufactured from specialized cobalt HSSE high-speed steel with about 5% cobalt.
The cobalt content increases the hardness of the tools and at the same time enables better cutting quality. The 1/2-28 UNEF machine taps are made by the world-renowned Serbian company FRA, according to the DIN 374 dimensional standard, C-notch. The blades of the taps are resistant to abrasive wear and also resistant to breaking, cracking, chipping, chipping and other damages. They are suitable for machining alloy steel, stainless steel, acid-resistant steel, heat-resistant steel and also for cast steel and cast iron.
