Carbide insert SPKX 140512 for folding drill bits
The modern SPKX 140512 PH -multi-flute insert, manufactured by the Portuguese company Palbit. It is a dedicated insert for machining hard materials, even at high speeds. It is recommended for various types of conventional machine tools, as well as for modern CNC numerical control machines. A special grade of tungsten carbide 6920, distinguished by above-average strength and resistance to abrasive wear, was used in the production of the inserts. SPKX 140512 multi-cutting inserts in our offer are suitable for medium and rough machining, even in very difficult cutting conditions. Their advantage is high hardness and increased wear resistance while maintaining increased core strength. This makes it possible to increase cutting performance, at high speed.
