Carbide insert for threading 16 ER 11 W MTA Horn is a specialized tool designed for precision turning of full-profile BSP (G) cylindrical pipe threads complying with ISO 228. The thread profile is based on the Whitworth standard with an outline angle of 55 degrees, which ensures tight connections and perfect fit of the parts.
Thanks to the 11 W geometry, the insert allows machining a wide range of inch threads: G 1", G 1.1/8", G 1.1/4", G 1.3/8", G 1.1/2", G 1.3/4", G 2", G 2.1/4", G 2.1/2", G 2.3/4" and G 3". It is used in the production of hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial components.
Made of high-grade carbide, PVD-coated, it provides high wear resistance and stable operation in the processing of various materials - from carbon and alloy steels, to cast iron and stainless steels.
