Carbide 16 VHM, widia, shank millingcutter with diameter D-16 Z-2. Designed for high-performance machining of very hard and hard-to-machine materials. It is a cylindrical-face cutter with a smooth cylindrical shank DIN 6536 HA. A special grade of sintered carbide with TiAIN coating is used for its production. Such a milling cutter design guarantees increased cutting efficiency, as well as the highest possible machining precision. In addition, carbide milling cutters are characterized by increased resistance to very difficult cutting conditions, including, in particular, high temperatures generated during machining. Carbide milling cutters fi 16 are also very hard and durable, as well as resistant to abrasion. Their advantages also include good chemical resistance, good adhesion to the substrate and a low coefficient of friction. This increases the comfort of work and extends the life of the tools. The cutters are recommended for conventional machine tools and machine tools with higher rigidity.
