Professional 1/4-40 UNS machine tapping machine for cutting American unified fine threads, UNS 1/4-40 type. It is a tapping machine with reinforced shank according to DIN 371 standard, straight chip grooves. Type of nut B (3,5 - 5 P) - for threading through-holes and blind holes in materials with a short chip. The threads have a triangular nut with an angle of 60 degrees. The machine threaders in question are dedicated to both individual customers and large locksmith shops. They are suitable for very professional machining of very hard and hard-to-machine materials. This possibility is given to them by the special cobalt HSSE high-speed steel. The addition of cobalt increases the hardness of the tools and their resistance to work at elevated temperatures. Thanks to these features, 1/4-40 UNS unified machine taps in our store guarantee a significant reduction in machining time and an increase in the so-called unit productivity.
