UNF5/8-18 left UNF unified American for cutting external threads. Unified circular tool is dedicated to both individual customers and large manufacturing plants. It is designed for manual and machine-cutting of external threads of American unified fine-coil UNF 5/8-18. UNF 5/8-18 lewa dies are made with the highest precision from special high-speed steel, in accordance with the dimensional standard DIN 22568. The tolerance class of the threads made is 2A, and the thread angle is 60 degrees. The subject threading dies are characterized by high resistance to very heavy cutting conditions.
They are very hard, durable and resistant to abrasion even under the influence of high temperatures generated during high-speed machining. The blades of the dies are very durable and resistant to potential mechanical damage. The tools are suitable for professional threading of workpieces made of materials of class P1.2 - P1.3. These are unalloyed steels (carbon), metals, non-ferrous metals (copper, aluminum), metal alloys, thermosetting plastics.
