American 7/16-14 UNC machine threader
Modern 7/16-14 UNC machine taps with elongated through shank designed for cutting American unified ordinary threads. These threads are ordinary threads - with normal pitch, UNC type, section 7/16 inch, 14 turns per inch. Tolerance class of made threads 2B, thread outline triangular with an angle of 60 degrees. Type of cut C (2 - 3 P) - for threading of through-holes and blind holes in materials giving short chip. The 7/16-14 UNC unified machine taps are suitable for machining hard metals, unalloyed steels, nonferrous metals, metal alloys and plastics. The offered machine taps are resistant to harsh working conditions, including, in particular, very high temperatures (up to 600 degrees) created during high-speed operation. Our tools are also characterized by high machining efficiency, which enables shorter working time and better use of cutting stations.
