Hook boring cutter 16x16 for cast iron
Hook boring cutterwith brazed insert 16x16 for cast iron with carbide H10/K10, NNWc type, size 16x16. Designed for professional machining of hard and hard-to-machine materials, made to ISO 11 dimensional standard. Hook boring knives are suitable for professional undercutting and groove boring. Their greatest advantage is their increased resistance to very harsh cutting conditions and also resistance to abrasion under high temperatures. The blades of the knives are resistant to any mechanical damage. The H10/K10 grade of carbide allows machining mainly materials that give short chips. These include various grades of cast iron (malleable, with local hardening), austenitic steel, aluminum and aluminum-silicon alloys, porcelain, glass. Thanks to the properties of carbide, the cutters are suitable for fine and medium precision machining on various types of conventional machine tools and on computer numerical control machine tools.
